Jeremy Annear

Jeremy Annear was born in Exeter, Devon, England in 1949. He attended Exeter College of Art, Painting and Printmaking for three years and received his degree from Rolle College, Devon in 1976. Like many British abstractionists, the local landscape influenced his art much as it led to the St. Ives? abstractionism of Ben Nicholson in 1930 or of Peter Lanyon in the Fifties. Annear?s work has been recently shown in solo or group shows in St. Ives, Cornwall, Cambridge and London.
