Deborah Worthington Dorsey (collection)
Deborah Dorsey was born in Alexandria, Virginia and studied at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, the National Academy School of Fine Arts, the Art Institute of Chicago, Radcliffe College at Harvard University, and holds two Master's degrees from Columbia University. She has taught painting in NYC, at Long Island University, the Sate University of New York, and the Student League of New York. She has also been an art critic for both "Art News" and "Art World". She has exhibited widely in the United States including the American Watercolour Society and a solo exhibition at the prestigious Philadelphia Art Alliance. Numerous awards including a Fulbright Scholarship in France. Ms Dorsey is Artist/Patron for the Nantucket Art Association and is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Artists. She is listed in "Who's Who in American Art".
